Spiro first met on the Bristol music scene and have been together, their line-up completely unchanged, for over 20 years. That the group still boast their original line-up speaks volumes for their sense of collectivism and solidarity. These are virtues that are writ large in their music, a commendable all-for-one sensibility. Listen to just a few bars of any track and that tight ensemble sound is both overwhelming and invigorating. Their tour supports the album Pole Star re-issued in 2014.
