10pm: MDNGHT

"I think possibly one of the best reactions we've had on BBC Introducing! It's a very nice track!" (Dev – Radio 1)

"Absolutely brilliant... when I wake up the first thing I do, I check Twitter and today it's just people asking what time MDNGHT was going to be on. Amazing reactions on text and twitter... it's really nice isn't it?!" (Dev#2 - Radio 1)

Manchester disco-house collective MDNGHT fine tune elements of house, balearic beats and disco to create celestial anthems that glide and grind into the late night ether.

When the Manchester-based vowel fascists released their debut EP 'Into the Night' back in July 2013, their chosen strand of disco deep house was at the start of its hot streak in terms of chart success. The beautifully emotive lead single and title track from the EP was immediately announced as BBC Radio 1Xtra introducing single of the week in September, including a week of play listing. A month later it was awarded an unprecedented BBC Radio 1 Introducing single of the week, and another national play listing which started on Nov 4th with Fern Cotton’s morning show.

Playing at Radio 1's Big Weekend in May as one of the stations chosen emerging acts, this band have got a nice little following, and carry raw talent as musicians with killer smooth vocals. The band's current single, the sultry post-holiday 'Breeze' was premiered by TIME Magazine and The Guardian, with the video being being given a platform to the American market by MTV World. 'Breeze' will be released on October 13th on MUK Records and accompanied with a 10 date University tour before they unveil their newly completed debut album entitled 'Alive' in Spring of 2015. One to watch.
