Crisis Midwinter Swim

Come and make a splash for Crisis!

Homelessness charity Crisis is inviting hardy fundraisers to take an icy plunge at the charity's annual Crisis Midwinter Swim. Up to 350 daring fundraisers are expected to turn out in all manner of fancy dress for the event at Tooting Bec Lido. All funds raised from the group jump-in will help Crisis bring homeless people in from the cold this winter.

2014 will be the third year the charity has held the Crisis Midwinter Swim. To date, the event has raised £28,000 to support Crisis life-changing year round and Christmas services.

To accommodate more swimmers than ever, the event is this year moving to Tooting Bec Lido, the largest fresh water pool in England. Fantastic prizes will be on offer for the top three fundraisers and the best fancy dress.

All participants will receive a special Crisis swimming cap for the occasion and be able to enjoy a warm shower and a hot drink after they have braved the pool. Spectators are welcome.
