Unemployment is a key challenge facing young people around the world, and tackling that challenge can boost economic growth in some of the places that need it most. To do this, ICS Entrepreneur teams young volunteers from the UK with local volunteers from developing countries, putting their skills and creativity into practice supporting emerging businesses.

This could involve using your skills to support a farmer to produce a business plan, help a carpenter to develop a new product, or assist a market seller to expand their business. The challenges are varied and exciting, and you can make a noticeable difference.

ICS Entrepreneur is a great chance to develop skills and gain experience that can demonstrate your ability to innovate and work in a challenging environment to future employers. While on placement you will be given all the support you need to put your skills into practice, so it’s a fantastic opportunity to make a positive change in your life and the lives of others.

This event is a great chance to meet all the agencies that are involved in ICS and people who support it and hear more about the programme in detail.
