This Halloween sees O2 launch a haunted house containing scares entirely created and controlled by everyday smart tech. Opening its doors on Wednesday 29th October in Princelet Street, Shoreditch, the experience aims to scare and delight visitors through suspense and sudden spooks.

Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in an experience that will leave them ‘shaking in their boots’ by registering for free tickets through O2 Priority, from Saturday 18th October. Non O2 customers will also be offered the opportunity to win tickets by sharing a screaming selfie or video, on Twitter using hashtag #O2POSSESSED.

During the experience, visitors will be led through five individual rooms, each powered by a range of connected technology. All smart tech will be controlled by phones and tablets to create a fun, frightening and unforgettable experience.

However, the scares do not end there… those who want to tune in to witness the proceedings will be able to watch the experience live via O2’s YouTube channel.

Not for the faint hearted, there is also a chance for those viewing the action from home to win prizes, but only if they can gain a prized snap of Princelet Street’s resident ghost. Located in the middle of Jack the Ripper’s old stomping ground, rumour has it that the property may be haunted by one of his victims.
