Playwright April de Angelis leads this playwriting masterclass, using Bernard Shaw’s Man and Superman as a stimulus. Participants will investigate the play’s structure, themes, language and characters, and compare Bernard Shaw’s original text with Ben Powers’ new version for the National Theatre. Participants will try a range of practical writing exercises inspired by the play. This event is ideal for those interested in the craft of playwriting.

To participate you will need to have seen Man and Superman in advance of the event.
