Covent Garden Christmas Lights Switch-On

Join us at 6pm next Tuesday 4th November we'll be switching on our Christmas lights and transforming Covent Garden into a glittering spectacle for the festive season.

The stunning decorations include 150,000 sparkling pealights, and a new arrival for 2014 - a giant 22-feet tall silver reindeer.

The London Youth Choir will mark the switch-on moment with a free, open-air performance featuring traditional festive carols with a modern twist.

And to top things off, the trendy doughnut concept, Crosstown Doughnuts will be giving away personalised Covent Garden ringed doughnuts throughout the evening. The delicious treats are packed full with homemade raspberry jam, topped with a delicious vanilla bean glaze and finished with white icing and freeze-dried raspberries.
