So it's Wednesday night and instead of going to the same old bar after work with your colleagues and having to shout over loud music why not try something new and interesting? Perhaps Speed Dating at Dirty Martini in Mayfair? Speed dating isn't new and interesting you might say but Ah! There's a twist! The ladies will be wearing masks. Now that certainly makes things interesting!

Gentlemen, you will arrive at our exclusive venue and be ushered into a luxurious room behind a set of curtains. Behind these curtains, you will speed date with mystery women behind masks. Not to worry, the masks will come off at the end of the speed dating and your mystery woman will be revealed.

Ladies, you will get to wear a mask throughout the speed dating so you can banish away any element of shyness as you speed date. The night is yours!

You can forget what you've heard, speed dating is not just for desperate singletons. Everyone is friendly, welcoming and there's no pressure! The initial meet only lasts a few minutes and who knows, you just might meet someone special.

Format of the Evening
1. Registration (7:30 pm - 8:00pm)
Men: Once you arrive your contact details will be confirmed and you will be ushered into our luxurious room. You will be handed a score card when you arrive and on it you will write down the names of all your dates and tick to show who you are or aren't interested in. We recommend a stiff drink to calm those nerves and get you in the mood.

Women: Once you arrive your contact details will be confirmed and you will put on your mask. You will be handed a score card when you arrive and on it you will write down the names of all your dates and tick to show who you are or aren't interested in. With a tasty cocktail in hand you'll be prepared to enjoy your night. You will be assigned a table where you will sit at all night. The men will be the ones moving around at the end of every date.

2. Speed Dating (8:00pm - 10:00pm) We begin! Every date lasts 5-7 minutes. This is your chance to get a feel of the person in front of you and decide whether or not you'd like to get to know them better. But is five minutes long enough to make an impression and work out if you want to see someone again? Research suggests that chemistry can be felt within the first thirty seconds of meeting someone, and that is what speed dating is all about, knowing quickly if you are going to like someone. And with the masks on you can be sure you are judging the woman in front of you purely on her personality. There will be a 30 minute break in between to allow guests to purchase drinks and nibbles.

3. 10:00pm onwards - The Speed Dating ends. The women take off the masks after the score cards have been completed by everyone. The mystery women reveal themselves! The fun continues! Attendees can remain in Dirty Martini and enjoy their delicious cocktails and continue speaking to each other. So fellas this will be your chance to buy that lady you wanted to speak to for longer a drink or two if you're lucky.

In three days, attendees will be emailed their matches along with their contact details and they can take things from there.

Please read carefully before purchasing a ticket. As this is a speed dating event, the success of the evening relies heavily on people arriving on time. The event can not start until everyone has arrived therefore lateness will make things extremely unpleasant for other attendees.

We have spaces for 20 guests but we will be selling more than 20 tickets. The first 10 men and women to arrive will be allowed to speed date. Anyone that arrives after the first 20 people will be offered a refund or can attend the next event. Please understand that this is to protect our guests and ensure the event starts on time.

Purchasing a ticket does NOT guarantee entry. Purchasing a ticket AND arriving on time does.
