Showtime in Wartime: Family Play Day

For children aged five to seven years.

Come along to discover the fun and escapist musicals soldiers liked to see when they were home on leave during the First World War. After listening to original songs played on a 1918 trench gramophone, we’ll use our historic pianos, percussion and props to explore what makes a catchy tune. Together we’ll create our own entertaining song, complete with catchy lyrics and an infectious melody!
