Da Lata plus DJ Patrick Forge - London Jazz Festival

Pioneers of the global beat play special LJF show to mark the release of new special remix and live vinyl package.

Serving up Afro-Brazilian vibes, big dance floor rhythms and an unmistakable London approach they released "Fabiola" (their first album in 10 years) to huge acclaim in 2013. Back playing live in 2014 they have cemented their reputation as a band that delivers killer grooves and great funk excursions.

Da Lata (meaning "from the tin" in Portuguese) are a British group formed in 1994 by Chris Franck and Patrick Forge, they combine Afro-Brazilian influences with other strands from the melting pot of their native London.

De Lata founding member and original DJ from Dingwalls seminal Sunday's Jazz Session and KISS FM's The Cosmic Jam, Patrick Forge will be taking the beats to the decks afterwards.
