Struie Road is back for winter, at Workshop Coffee on 21st November and 5th December for their monthly pop-up event. With it being the start of the most wonderful time of year, Struie Road will have an array of wonderful wild treats lined up for guests.

For those who don’t know Struie Road, it is the combination of two successful and growing companies: Workshop Coffee Co and The Wild Game Co, both of which have a passion for well sourced and seasonal produce. Struie Road presents some of the best produce available on the market in terms of game and is an evening comprised of an accomplished eight course-tasting menu. Starting with a glass of fizz on arrival and crusty bread with homemade infused butter, diners will then spend the evening tasting interesting and innovative Scottish delights.

Struie Road will start autumn with a delicious new menu. To get us all in the festive spirit dishes will include a Buttermilk Partridge, Smoked Salmon with a Horseradish Cream and a lovely Pulled Shoulder of Lamb and Mutton supplied by John Scott who recently won Sheep Farmer of the year. Some old favourites from other Struie Road events will also feature on the menu including, the Surf and Turf, slow cooked Ribs and Oysters, the Venison Chateaubriand as the main course, followed by seasonal ripe cheese and Apple crumble, with Balblair whisky cream.

Also new for November is Struie Road’s new recommended Balblair Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky and Caorunn Gin both Scottish of course; For a refreshing cocktail guests will be treated to a Caorunn G&T infused with foraged botanicals from Speyside. And for an after dinner dram, Balblair Vintage 2003 can be enjoyed with flavours of warm spice.
