Buon Natale

This year Natale will be a rustic and authentic Italian affair at Bunga Bunga. It will be bursting with Berlusconi’s huge balls, sorry, I mean baubles, a delightful Christmas tree in the starlit L’Osservatorio, Christmas crackers, and a selection of Special Christmas Feasting menus ranging from £34 for four courses, to £68 for an incredible seven course banquet. Courses will include delicious dishes such as; Pear and Pecorino Ravioli in a Cacio e Pepe Sauce and Oven roasted whole Salmon side served on a bed of baby spinach with salsa verde.

Then, to wash it all down and for a spin on the classic winter warmer, hot aperitivo and digestivo cocktails, such as the ‘Inverno a Napoli’, (Italy’s fiery take on traditional mulled wine) will be served. As a tribute to the best of ballet, ‘The Nutcracker’ will also be on offer, a sugary mix of Gosling Demerara rum, Frangelico hazelnut liquer, Disaronno shaken with egg white and vanilla bitters, served short with a Savoiardo biscuit for soaking.

In honour of Italy’s famous Christmas cake, there will even be a specially created winter sharer cocktail, the ‘If Only, Pannetone’ that will be filled with Christmas spice infused Hennessey VS mixed and Chateau de Breuit calvados with milk cream, egg, vanilla bitters and caramel syrup, all served in an edible Pannetonne!

True to Bunga Bunga form there will of course be karaoke carols, or rather ‘Santa-oke’, and on Thursday nights throughout December, when Bunga Bunga’s very own Italian Santa will host the Roman Empire Night.

Lastly, it would of course not be Christmas without the Bunga Bunga ‘Buon Natale’ Christmas Pizza, giving Pret’s Turkey sandwich a run for their money this festive snack will be piled high as a Christmas tree with Turkey, Cranberry Sauce and Homemade Stuffing.
