Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity is hosting its annual London Carol Concert at St. Paul’s Church in Knightsbridge on Thursday 4 December to raise money for the work it does in caring for families with a seriously ill child.

The charity’s much-loved concert has previously attracted celebrity hosts and readers such as Mary Nightingale, Clare Balding and Hugh Bonneville. This year, special guests include actress, author and all-round national treasure Sheila Hancock, actors Dominic West (known for Burton and Taylor, The Hour, Appropriate Adult, The Wire) and Rupert Penry Jones (known for Silk, Whitechapel, Spooks, Charlotte Gray), actresses Gillian Wright (known for EastEnders) and Pippa Haywood (known for Prisoners Wives, Brittas Empire, Green Wing, Scott & Bailey).

The evening event invites guests along from 6pm to enjoy mulled wine and mince pies before listening to traditional carols from the chapel choir of Thomas’s Clapham, opera group Canteremo and a reading from one of the children supported by the charity.

Tickets cost £40 each and can be booked via the website.
