Tim Burton-a-thon

If, like us, you're sat drumming your fingers impatiently waiting for the release of Tim Burton's new movie Big Eyes this Christmas, why not join us to celebrate some of his finest works at our two-day TIM BURTON-A-THON.

We're separating the programme into two strands. On 17th we present OUTSIDERS with screenings of EDWARD SCISSORHANDS and THE CORPSE BRIDE. On the 18th we look at ADAPTATIONS with a double bill of CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY and ALICE IN WONDERLAND.

17th Dec: TIM BURTON-A-THON: OUTSIDERS
7.30pm - Edward Scissorhands.
An uncommonly gentle young man, who happens to have scissors for hands, falls in love with a beautiful adolescent girl. Stars Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder and Dianne Wiest. (Length: 105 mins)

9.30pm - The Corpse Bride.
When a shy groom practices his wedding vows in the inadvertent presence of a deceased young woman, she rises from the grave assuming he has married her. Featuring the voices of Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter. (Length: 77 mins)

18th Dec: TIM BURTON-A-THON: ADAPTATIONS
7pm - Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
A young boy wins a tour through the most magnificent chocolate factory in the world, led by the world's most unusual candy maker. Adapted from the book by Roald Dahl; starring Johnny Depp and Freddie Highmore. (Length: 115 mins)

9.15pm - Alice in Wonderand.
Nineteen-year-old Alice returns to the magical world from her childhood adventure, where she reunites with her old friends and learns of her true destiny: to end the Red Queen's reign of terror. Adapted from the book by Lewis Carroll; starring Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter. (Length: 108 mins)

These are informal screenings in our Attic events bar, your £6 ticket entitles you to stay for either one or both movies per event. The bar will remain open throughout for drinks and snacks.
