I DREAM OF WIRES (Robert Fantinatto, Canada 2014, 102 min) A documentary film about the phenomenal resurgence of the modular synthesizer, exploring the passions, obsessions and dreams of people who have dedicated their lives to this esoteric electronic music machine; for many, it's an all-consuming passion! Established musicians such as Trent Reznor, Carl Craig, John Foxx, alongside a new generation of dance and electronica artists including Clark, James Holden and Factory Floor, explain why they've stepped away from laptops to embrace the sound and physicality of modular synthesizers.


Shitwife: A blizzard of hellish percussive clangour and vivid digital horror, Shitwife are a sonic demolition duo made up of Shield Your Eyes drummer Henri Grimes and Ladyscraper laptop annihilator Wayne Adams.


Julian Hand: Julian is a light show artist and filmmaker who has created visuals and film work for bands such as The Oscillation and Toy, using slides, old celluloid, oil and overhead projection
