Between 28th January and 14th March 2015 Pangolin London will present Breon O’Casey: Sculpture, Painting and Collage.

The exhibition is the first retrospective for Breon in nearly 10 years and is also the first show since his death in 2011. It is a unique opportunity to assess his remarkable career - as one of the last of the St Ives generation of leading modern artists and an apprentice of both Denis Mitchell and Barbara Hepworth.

The oldest son of the celebrated Irish dramatist Seán O’Casey, Breon’s Celtic roots permeated his aesthetic. His work, exploring themes of figuration and abstraction, ranged spectacularly from weaving and textiles through to jewellery, sculpture and painting with repeated references to the natural world.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a book with a forward from noted art historian, Michael Bird.
