This public talk will be hosted by eSafety expert for children and young people, Karl Hopwood, and will include a Q&A where parents can address their individual concerns.
Topics will include the potential dangers of social media, sexting and cyber-bullying and the focus will be on how to enable children and young people to make good decisions in the online world, and what steps to take when a problem arises.
Karl Hopwood is an enormously engaging and knowledgeable speaker with the most up-to-date information available. He works with CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre), BECTA (British Educational and Communications Technology Agency), the European Commission and several Local Authorities within the UK.
