On 27th January The Wild Game Co. will be going head to head with The Wild Beer Co. at their newly launched Charlotte Street pop-up restaurant. The evening will be an opportunity to experience some of Scotland’s finest produce matched with award winning beers from Somerset with diners guaranteed to have a really wild time.

On the evening there will be a fantastic four-course dinner matched with six stunning beers. Dishes on the specially created menu include earl grey cured salmon, pigeon and beer porridge. The perfect combination of delicate flavours paired with buxom beer.

The Wild Game Co. are a young and dynamic team, who are having fun cooking and promoting British game, whilst remaining true to its heritage. Founded by Andy Waugh, who hails from just north of Inverness, all of their meat is sourced and then butchered with care by his family’s game-butchering business, which has been in existence for over 30 years.

Andy and his clan of ‘kilt-wearing chefs’ have been making an impression on the London dining scene and have been voted the winners of ‘Street Food of the Year’ at The Young British Foodies Awards and noted by The Evening Standard as one of the top five places to eat game in London. Working with Calum MacKinnon, founder of successful bar concepts, Amicus Apple Edinburgh/Aberdeen and NOX Aberdeen and Head Chef Mikkel Toftgaard Gregersen who has trained at several top restaurants including the highly acclaimed Copenhagen restaurant Koefoed
