Olha Pryymak’s Ukraine Diaries are clusters of small oil paintings, which depict snapshots of events of the past year in Ukraine as seen through the artist’s immediate surroundings. This exhibition marks one year since the outbreak of violence in Ukraine. Olha Pryymak paints one small figurative painting a day forming a visual diary of her emotional response to her surroundings in combination with news coming from her land of origin.
