Let's celebrate the arrival of Spring by taking a stroll through Epping forest. Some of the best friendships come into existence by spending a day out in nature, and March 1 just sounds like an ideal date to do so. We will be walking, chatting, eating our sandwiches, and I will be entertaining everybody with my rendition of Beethoven's "Ode to Joy" (joking).

Distance: 5.5 miles (roughly). However, if you feel you are too tired to go on, you can always cut your way and catch a tube at Loughton, Buckhurst Hill, or Roding Valley.

The purpose of our group, The Lutrinians, is to help people find genuine friends and human warmth. Certainly, there are other social groups, but more often than not, you go there and nothing happens. I encourage people to actively come into contact with each other, exchange numbers, e-mail adresses and Facebook accounts (but of course, nobody HAS to). This group is intended to take the whole idea of a meetup to the next level. By setting up this group, I’m hoping to create a whole network of people who are liberal-minded, want to live in harmony with the world and other human beings around them, are open to making new friends and not ashamed to admit it. We don’t just meet up to do things together - rather, we try to make some friends doing some something along the way. This group is for celebrating life and the wonderful people around us.
