Drifters

The monumental silent movie, Drifters will be accompanied by a live score performed by the vocal sculptor, Jason Singh.

With beatboxing and live sampling, Jason will add depth to the dramatic tale of North Sea herring fishermen as they go about their daily routines, as well as their underlying struggles pulling them between tradition and modernity, technology and the environment.

Singh’s score is a totally unique performance which combines live vocal sound effects, voice manipulation, beatboxing and live sampling with one of the most significant works in British film history.
