Live: Ed Rome & Very Special Guests
DJs: Healer Selecta, Count Skylarkin & more
Celebrating Five glorious years of The Big Ten Inch at The Book Club, tonight acclaimed singer/songwriter Ed Rome fronts an all-star ensemble to premiere sides from 'Snapshot: Dubs & Subs' - the second Lp in his two-part homage to the classic sounds of late 60s/early 70s Jamaica. A thrilling ride through vintage island magic with a double-barrel shot of soul, tonight marks a rare live outing for Rome and his band (with some very special guest dropping in for good measure). On the decks, Count Skylarkin and the man Craig Charles calls "the most influential Frenchman in London" spin age-old dancefloor dynamite from the Cotton Clubs to the Caribbean.
Music policy: Jump Blues, Hot Swing, Early Reggae, Ska, Gospel, Calypso, Cumbia
