Maurizio Minardi Quartet

Italian pianist, accordionist and composer Maurizio Minardi has just released his new album ‘Piano Ambulance’. Reminiscent of Esbjorn Svensson Trio, Nino Rota, Rene Aubry, Michael Nyman and Ennio Morricone, Maurizio’s intimate and expressive sound is defined by a daring and unique combination of genres from baroque to minimalist jazz fired up with splashes of tango and rumba. Maurizio performs regularly at major European and UK festivals, and the Omnibus concert is the last date of his Jazz Services-supported March 2015 UK tour.
