Vendor Model Validation 2015

Validation of vendor models has been regarded as impossible to achieve due to inability to access proprietary code. Recently, vendor models have also attracted increased attention from regulators, creating further incentive for firms to make advances in this area.

Despite the obvious challenges, a great deal of model risks can be identified and mitigated by thoughtful and well planned validation activities. Different model types create distinct challenges for validation, therefore this seminar will address, through practical case study learning, the validation of a number of credit, market, repayment and Monte Carlo models.

This one day seminar is intended to outline some best practices to governance and validation of vendor models and will be of benefit to anyone looking to extend their knowledge in this area
