Do We Really Have Free Will?
with Julian Baggini and Claudia Hammond

Renowned philosopher Julian Baggini explores the concept of free will, blending philosophy, neuroscience and sociology to reach a new understanding of our sense of personal freedom. In conversation with Claudia Hammond, presenter of BBC Radio 4’s All in the Mind, Baggini will address questions that have puzzled philosophers and theologians for centuries. Do we have free will? How much responsibility should we take for our actions? What role does our brain play? And what do we mean when we talk about 'freedom' anyway?

Julian Baggini is the founding editor of The Philosophers' Magazine. His new book Freedom Regained will be published by Granta in March.

Claudia Hammond is an award-winning broadcaster, writer and psychology lecturer. She is the presenter of BBC Radio 4’s All in The Mind and is the author of Time Warped, published by Canongate.
