In anticipation of daylight saving, we are excited to present the "Rakes & Hoes Ball", which will be a night celebrating urban gardening and seasonal produce.
Working with Food Expert & Author Celia Brooks, we have designed a menu that can be grown in gardens in an urban environment. And it's damn tasty too!
Celia will be there on the night to chat to people about general gardening tips and how to make the most out of small spaces. She will be helping us with our own micro garden after the event.
There will also be a raffle where you can win prizes of goodies with the funds going to Back2Earth Projects in Tottenham, a charity that aims to transform people's lives in this diverse, deprived area by enabling them to engage with - and make productive use of their immediate environment.
Free Entry with a pack of seed for a seed swap (you get to take another pack home with you at the end of the night), and food & drinks available for purchase.
Sample menu:
- Rocket, Almonds & Rhubarb Shavings
- Lamb Chops w Rosemary & Garlic
- Barley Risotto w Purple Sprouting Broccoli
- Eton Mess with Rhubarb & Rose
