Penguin and The Book Club Present Little Black Classics

The Book Club are collaborating with Penguin Books to host a night of off-the-wall book fun and celebrate the launch of the Little Black Classics. Join us for an evening of literary laughs as we draw hidden stories from familiar texts through performance, games and quizzes, you won't need to have read the books to get involved.

Teams will work together to create literary carnage: have you ever considered what happens when you make poetry out of Austen; tried to mime Dante's Circles of Hell using only your face; or read excerpts of Tolstoy in an erotic tone? There are prizes of books and booze up for grabs, literary-inspired cocktails to enjoy, and the exuberant FOWL Cabaret will be performing to make this an evening of truly Shakespearean proportions. Bring friends or make new ones on the night, and enjoy the best 80th birthday party around.
