If you can’t get enough of ripe Camembert or are trying to locate that perfect Pinot Noir, then pay a visit to The Cheese & Wine Festival. Following five successful years on the Southbank, this popular festival is relocating indoors. Find it from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 March 2015, at the Business Design Centre, Islington.

Visitors to the event can enjoy browsing and shopping from a variety of fine quality produce from over 30 companies. Stands will include cheeses from artisan cheesemongers that include Paxton & Whitfield and La Cave à Fromage, showcasing over 200 types of delicious cheeses.

Boutique wine merchants will be selling a wide range of wine from around the world, including organic and biodynamic, whites, reds, Prosecco, Champagne and more. There will also be a tempting selection of ciders, beers and spirits.

To complement the delicious cheeses and drinks, there’ll be a selection of artisan chutneys, breads, oils, and even cheesecakes on offer. For a more substantial lunch or dinner, the Cheese & Wine Café will also serve fresh cheesy treats.

During the show La Cave à Fromage will attempt to break the world record for the most cheese types on a cheeseboard. The gigantic cheese board will include over 70 types of cheeses. It will take a mountain of cheese, a whole host of varieties and after a while the smell will be tremendous; but if you like your fromage, whatever the texture, strength and creaminess, it’s a must see.

The Tasting Theatre will hold a selection of tutored tastings hosted by a number of top food and wine personalities including Patricia Michelson from La Fromagerie and award-winning wine journalist and author Jane Parkinson. Sessions will include Northern Italian cheeses and wines, and even a chocolate and cheese pairing tasting!

The event is run in association with The Chocolate Festival and entry ticket includes both festivals.
