The Moth StorySLAM: Fools

The celebrated NYC storytelling series continues. This month, it's all about comic exploits, tragic embarrassments, practical jokers, cunning con artists and the folks that fall prey to them.

Prepare a five-minute story about comic exploits and tragic embarrassments. Practical jokers, cunning con artists and the folks that fall prey to them. Large scale trickery or small scale ignorance that result in hard-learned lessons and a clarified vision of reality.

The celebrated NYC radio show continues their debut UK event series. The Moth StorySLAMs are open to anyone with a five-minute, true, story to share on the night’s theme.

When the doors open, sign up to tell a story, volunteer to be on a judging team or just sit back and listen. A half hour later, names are picked, and one by one, storytellers take the stage. The ten featured stories are scored by teams of judges selected from the audience. Each StorySLAM generates a StorySLAM winner. After ten SLAMs, the winners face off in our GrandSLAM Championships.
