Live: Railroad Bill
DJs: Lady Kamikaze (Black Cotton Club), Count Skylarkin & more
In town to launch their latest LP 'Pigs Might Fly', Cardiff-based Railroad Bill are Britain's best loved and longest running touring skiffle group. For nearly 30 years these tea chest bass twanging tornados have taken their uptempo, acoustic blend of folk, blues, rock n roll, jazz, music hall and punk around the world - astonishing crowds from Scotland to Singapore with their raucous energy and uplifting sounds. The late Lonnie Donegan was a fan, as is the BBC's renowned film critic (and washboard enthusiast) Mark Kermode. Spinning all original vinyl, Black Cotton Club founder Lady Kamikaze makes her long awaited Big Ten Inch debut, armed with jump blues, swing, ska, cumbia, calypso and old-time dance floor dynamite.
