Hilarious top comedian Hal Cruttenden joins Arthur Smith in the third House of Fun at Blackheath Halls

The House of Fun with Arthur Smith is coming to The Blackheath Halls, Blackheath, London SE3, on Friday 12 June at 8pm. 

This will be an uproarious night of variety with fantastic comedy, sparkling music and more in the company of Arthur Smith, compere beyond compare, playwright, king of comedians, professional Leonard Cohen impersonator and star of radio's ‘Loose Ends’, ‘The Smith Lectures’ and tv's ‘The One Show’ and 'Grumpy Old Men'

The line-up so far:

ARTHUR SMITH is not only of Britain's best-loved comedians, but also a playwright, panellist and author. Brought up in Blackheath, his play, An Evening with Gary Lineker was nominated for an Olivier Award and made in a tv film, and a number of his Edinburgh Fringe Festival productions have transferred to London's West End. His many radio credits include Just a Minute, Start the Week, Loose Ends, and The Smith Lectures, whilst on tv he's appeared on everything from QI to Grumpy Old Men, Red Dwarf, Have I Got News For You, and Room 101.

HAL CRUTTENDEN, one of the top comedians working in the UK today. He's performed stand-up in more than 20 countries and his many tv appearances include Live at the Apollo, Would I Lie To You, Sunday Night at the Palladium, Mock the Week, Have I Got News For You, Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, John Bishop’s Only Joking and The Rob Brydon Show. ‘Hilarious’ (Evening Standard); ‘An absolute joy to watch...fabulous’ (The Scotsman); ‘Believe me, this is as good as it gets’ (Channel4.com). Hall will be performing work in progress in a specially extended set.

Best newcomer winner of the prestigious London Caberet Awards 2014, New Act of the Year and Musical Comedy Awards finalist (and Greenwich resident), TINA T’URNER TEA LADY promises high-octane hilarity.

Armed with accordions, violins and a bucket full of gusto, BUFFO’S WAKE waltz, tango and breakdance their way through a colourful range of eastern European gypsy rock ditties. They’ve appeared at some of the biggest festivals, including Glastonbury.

2014 Musical Comedy Awards finalist LAURENCE OWEN'S musical style is unusually dramatic and far-reaching and packed with spiky observations. "Genius - a glorious shot of pure dark satire" says Broadway Baby.
