The Saint-Petersburg Music House and Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in the United Kingdom invite you to a concert from the “Embassy of Musical Mastery” Project. The brilliant pianist Miroslav Kultyshev, laureate of international music competitions will perform the solo program dedicated to great composers Maurice Ravel and Pyotr Tchaikovsky.

In the year of the 140th anniversary of Maurice Ravel his famous music pieces will feature: ‘Pavane for a Dead Princess’ which brought fame to the composer, exquisite ‘Sonatina in F-Sharp Minor’ and virtuoso ‘Gaspard de la nuit’ piano cycle.
For the 175th anniversary of Pyotr Tchaikovsky, ‘The Seasons’ will be performed which are called the composer’s “greatest hit”. This famous lyric cycle of twelve piano pieces dedicated to months is known as “an encyclopedia of Russian country-estate life”.

Maurice Ravel’s 140th anniversary will be celebrated with featuring his well-known peaces: ‘Pavane for a Dead Princess’ which got fame to the composer, exquisite ‘Sonatina in F-Sharp Minor’ and virtuoso ‘Gaspard de la nuit’ piano cycle.

Miroslav Kultyshev (29 years old). Graduate of the Saint-Petersburg Conservatory (class of Professor Alexander Sandler, Honoured Artist of Russia). Winner of the most prestigious piano competitions such as: International Tchaikovsky Competition (Moscow, 2007), International Piano Competition in Monte Carlo (Monaco, 2012). In 2001, he was honored a youth grant of the distinguished “Triumph" award. In 2005, he was awarded the Order of the Griffon for his considerable contribution to music. Since 2006 he participates in the Saint-Petersburg Music House programs.

”Embassy of Musical Mastery” is a unique project of the Saint-Petersburg Music House and Rossotrudnichestvo which started in 2012 and is supported by the Ministry of Culture of Russia. The Project includes the away meetings of the leading musicians in Russia, as well as tours and guest performances of the young soloists in the Russian Centers of Science and Culture in Europe.

The Saint-Petersburg Music House is the Federal State Institution of Culture founded in 2006 to prepare young Russian musicians for international competitions and festivals and accommodated in the Palace of Grand Duke Alexey Romanov at Moika Embankment, 0.122.
The artistic director of the Music House is professor Sergey Roldugin, famous cellist, People’s Artist of Russia.
