The Oblique Indian Summer

We are proud to bring you the first event from the Oblique Experience Series,‘The Oblique Indian Summer’ on Saturday 16th May.

Nothing symbolises summer more accurately than bright colours, refreshing drinks and great music, so what better way to start our favourite season than with an Oblique day party.

The UK is home to a very large Indian population, so it’s not surprising that Indian food is one the most popular cuisines in the country. Over the past few years through the media and globalisation of Bollywood, Indian culture has been able to transcend from being just your ‘local curry house’ to the exciting, vibrant and rich culture that it really is. So as this movement builds, in true Oblique style we want to embrace it and take you all on our very own Indian journey.

We have partnered with Michelin Star Chef Vivek Singh’s Cinnamon Kitchen to give you an amazing day filled with the best Indian food, bright colours, dancing and a few other special treats, including henna and Indian dancing. The format of the event will be slightly different to our normal brunch parties but rest assured there will be no drop in the energy levels.

At this event we want you to taste the fantastic food at Cinnamon kitchen so all tickets will include food and a reception cocktail:

1:00 – 2:00pm – Cocktail Reception

2:00 – 3:30pm – Food is served

Hyderabadi baby aubergine with pilau rice (v)
Old Delhi style black leg chicken, pilau rice
Spinach dumpling with tomato & fenugreek sauce, lemon rice (v)
