Springtime Safari!

The annual 'Springtime Safari' is on the Sunday of the May Bank Holiday this year, in the wonderful grounds of Orleans House on Twickenham Riverside. The very popular event is a special collaboration between the Borough’s Arts Service and the South West London Environment Network, with lots of free activities and wild creatures to see and learn about for children and families.
A packed afternoon of wildlife, pondlife, arts and crafts and storytelling for families.

Activities
-A mapped out trail around the woodland grounds will bring children face to face with nature and the chance to meet a number of fascinating creatures - hedgehogs, elvers and invertebrates amongst others! Go on our mini safari and see how many creatures you can spot.
-Meet the local wildlife organisations that help care for wild animals and plants in our area.
-Nature-inspired arts and crafts throughout the afternoon
-Story times with Twickenham Library
-Wild Education Forest School will be there with fun outdoor activities for children.
-Compost making with gardener Joy Lee
-North Stables Cafe open
