THE UK’S LARGEST GIN FESTIVAL IS A PALATE PLEASER

Drinks shows can often be boring, bland trestle table infested affairs. Thankfully, the team at Gin Foundry are putting a stop to this and are once again hosting Junipalooza. This year promises fun, immersive installations that combine botanicals, music, food and gin to create a unique experience - Junipalooza 2015. The UK’s largest festival dedicated to gin is back, bigger and better than ever.

Taking place in central London’s Soho at The Vinyl Factory, 51 Poland Street, W1F 7LZ over the weekend of 13th & 14th June 2015 – Junipalooza has been designed to celebrate the continued rise of the gin category and the diversity on offer.

This year World Gin Day falls on Saturday 13th June, where better to celebrate this wondrous day than with fellow gin lovers and ginsmith’s at Junipalooza! With a global gathering of gin producers attending, visitors will be able to sample a variety of gins, meet the teams behind the brands and make sense of this now revitalised and exciting category.

There will be the opportunity to enjoy familiar favourites but also a chance to enjoy and try small batch, craft gins, as well as gins from across the pond. We are excited to announce that once again we will have Master Distillers flying in specifically for Junipalooza – so there will certainly be an abundance of gin to tantalise those taste buds!

The 2015 line-up includes:

• UK: Sipsmith, Hayman's, Warner Edwards, Two Birds, Pinkster, Makar, Tarquin, Shortcross, Bathtub, Rock Rose, Dà Mhìle, Adnams, and Darnley's View
• Ireland: Blackwater
• Belgium: Filliers
• USA: St. George, NY Distilling and FEW Spirits
• Germany: Monkey 47, Elephant Gin and Ferdinand's Saar
• Switzerland: Nginious!
• Spain: Santamanía
• Sweden: Hernö

Over the weekend we will have some of the UK’s best bartenders making cocktails ranging from the classic to the contemporary, showcasing the wide range of gins on offer as well as some classics on tap. Full sized bottles will also be available to purchase via the Ginporium.

If that wasn’t tempting enough, enthusiasts can learn more about the spirits controversial past with a series of masterclasses that will be taking place throughout the weekend. Masterclass topics include: The Art of the Gin and Tonic and a Botanical Odyssey of Gin.
