Screen Social: #HELLO

On Wednesday 10th June we're hosting another charity Screen Social: #HELLO at the popular East London venue The Book Club. We'll be spending the evening exploring social video, screening some of the best content from independent creators & directors from across the web, while chatting to some of those influencers who have set the YouTube algorithms alight.

In a world obsessed with sharing moments and constructing online narratives, we’ll be entering the deep and hypnotic hole of social media with music videos, short films, animations, experimental and documentaries, seeing what’s racking up views.

Know a YouTube star or starlet? Created a viral success? Been swinging on Vine lately? Get in touch and submit a film, or simply come along, soak up film, music and catch up with friends over a few drinks without breaking your flow. So instead of basking in the glow of your own laptop, why not come and join us? Best of all, the proceeds go to the homelessness charity Shelter and for every registered £3 entry, we’ll donate an extra £1.
