Maggie's Celebrates Its 5th Birthday

80’s inspired club, Maggie’s, located in the heart of Chelsea, will be celebrating its 5th anniversary on Thursday, 28th May from 8:30 p.m. to late. True to form, Maggie’s will be celebrating with a Back to the 80’s bash hosted by the one and only Mr T! There will certainly be no shortage of neon Lyrca, big hair and shoulder pads. Maggie’s has teamed up with Belvedere Vodka to provide guests with plenty of colourful cocktails, whilst jamming out to the best tunes from the 80’s.

Guests will have the full 80’s experience and will be welcomed with Sex on the Fulham Beach and Moscow Mule cocktails and slices of pizza, while cover band, The 80’s Babies, will perform classic hits from Huey Lewis and the News, Paul Simon, The Buggles and more to get the dance floor moving. Guests needn’t worry about bringing their visors, Maggie’s will be handing special edition 5-year commemorative visors to all guests.

Expect cocktail waitresses and barmen in bright spandex, sweatbands, and visors while Maggie’s very own retro roller disco cupids perform throwback 80’s routines. Guests are encouraged to follow suit and dress up in their best leg warmers, neon windbreakers, and popped collars!

Maggie’s is named after 1980s Prime-Minister-turned-icon Maggie Thatcher, club-goers can hear her famous speeches playing in the loos, while Thatcher memorabilia vies for space on the walls along with other iconic 80s images and paraphernalia from A Team action men to A-Ha platinum discs. The music is a mixture of classics from the 1980s, and stars from the era play regular DJ sets. The Maggie’s bar tenders are dressed like Tom Cruise in the 80s cult movie, Cocktail, and serve up a range of drinks from Pina Coladas and Daiquiris to the unforgettable Babycham.
