It’s back! London’s only 1950s fair, the Mid Century Market returns this autumn to Cecil Sharp House. So what are you waiting for? Put your glad rags on for a day out with friends and spend the day shopping and socializing in a perfectly vintage atmosphere.

Runner up in the best vintage fair category for the London Vintage Awards after just three events, the Mid Century Market is trendsetting and retro forward and has built a strong reputation for selling the highest quality vintage from the mid century period which includes exquisite clothing, handy home ware and unique jewellery as well as showcasing the UK’s best clothing brands inspired by this atomic era. So whether your aim is to find the rarest rockabilly record out there, you have your eye on a pair of retro high waisted jeans from the Lady K Loves clothing stand or want a quirky brooch to add to your outfit, the Mid Century Market has it all to help you take a step back in time.

Whilst Dj’s play those classic rock n roll tracks from the 1950s, why not visit our onsite vintage hair salon and barber, where you can get your hair cut and styled by one of the UK’s most popular stylist’s; The Vanity Box who has over 10 years experience in the vintage hair. So whether you’re either Marilyn or Elvis, you will look every inch a 50s icon by the time you walk out the door. Throughout the afternoon there will also be live music from Manchester lass Becki Fishwick performing renowned hits from singers such as Etta James, Imelda May and many more rockabilly ladies to keep you shoppers entertained.

Held at the iconic venue that is Cecil Sharp House, situated in the bustling fashion focused shopping area of Camden town, doors will open at 11am to take you to back to the beautiful era of the 1950s. With big plans for the Mid Century Market, it continues to grow in size and popularity with fashion followers and rockabilly lover's alike travelling from the ends of the UK to grab a bargain from our stall holders who are as passionate about the glamour of the Hollywood bygone era as the shopper buying from them.
