We can sometimes take our senses for granted - eating without really tasting our food, seeing without really evaluating what we are seeing.
This workshop led by herbalist and photographer Louise, aims to exercise all of our senses by exploring some of the common health issues affecting women of African descent and the herbs that can be used to treat them.
We will use our senses, in the same way ancient herbalist did, to assess the quality
and properties of a selection of herbs and the effect they have on the body.
Writer and KLoveism founder KLove, will then help us guide our organoleptic journey onto paper and see how writing can be a powerful healing tool.
This event is open to women of all ages, however please note that there will be topics of a sexual nature.
