American folk singer/songwriter and Wandsworth radio personality Al Clogston, aka Albo, returns to the Bedford with his family folk style for a 4th of July celebration as part of the 2015 London Folkfest. Albo will present a musical homage to the land across the pond with American folk songs, summer camp songs, traditional children's songs and Albo originals accompanied on the guitar and 5 string banjo in an atmospheric Globe Theatre style setting. Songs once sung by Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger, Burl Ives, Peter, Paul and Mary, and many others will be performed. Food and beverages will be served and the bar will be open so there will be something to suit everyone's palate.
Albo's popular Little Folk concerts provide a gentle but energetic first live music experience and introduction to acoustic, folk style music. Audience participation will be encouraged and lyric sheets provided.
