Hearing from Dr David Luke who will be discussing the hallucinogen DMT, which is a neurotransmitter found naturally in the brains of mammals (including humans) and is thought to play a role in dreaming, psychosis and near death experiences. Dr Luke is Senior Lecturer in Psychology and joined the Department of Psychology and Counselling at the University of Greenwich, and specialises in the psychology and neuroscience of exceptional human experience, altered states of consciousness and transpersonal psychology.
