The Glenn Miller Orchestra at Richmond Theatre

Now into its 26th incredible year under the baton of veteran musical entertainer, Ray McVay, The Glenn Miller Orchestra continues to live up to its reputation as the world’s greatest big band!

In a show the whole family can enjoy, you can experience the excitement of the sound of this incredible orchestra and marvel at the pure energy of the Jiving Lindy Hoppers.

The show also features the fabulous harmonies of the Moonlight Serenaders, the sublime vocals of Catherine Sykes and Colin Anthony and the swinging jazz band, The Uptown Hall Gang.

Songs made famous by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Louis Armstrong are all presented in a show which highlights the stars, bands and dance moves of the era. You’ll hear the original arrangements of classic wartime chart toppers including Moonlight Serenade, American Patrol, Little Brown Jug, Tuxedo Junction and the iconic In the Mood.
