Cælestis International Charity Auction for WWF:

Peter Doig watercolour specially painted for Caelestis* to raise funds for WWF and kindly donated by the artist, this shows a vision of the moon for the creation of a special biodynamic wine.

A label mirroring the painting adorns 15 bottles of Cælestis Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé biodynamic wine (vintage 2011) from the prestigious Château Fonroque which, paired with vivid, lively works by upcoming artists from various countries on the theme ‘vineyard’, ‘grapes’ and ‘wine’, are available now for auction at theauctionroom

Proceeds from this painting, from the wine auction and works by upcoming artists will go to the WWF fund.

*Cælestis is a French non-profit-making charitable and educational voluntary association which raises funds annually for WWF on international level and draws public attention to the environmental impact of production and consumption (of wine in particular).
