Afghan Cultural Festival

On the 19th of July, London will host the largest and most diverse Afghan Cultural Festival in the UK, supported using public funding by Arts Council England.

The Festival, which will take place at Allianz Park (home of the Saracens Rugby Team), will contribute to the cultural enrichment of the Afghan community in the UK, and will be a site for sharing and celebrating the many unique aspects of Afghan culture with younger generations and within the wider British community. The event will attract thousands of people who want to celebrate the rich and diverse aspects of Afghan life, culture, sport, entertainment and cuisine.

The day-long Festival will feature performances from many famous Afghan singers and musicians, as well as theatre performances, art and photography exhibitions, storytelling, fun fair, Ghazal corner, kite flying, football tournament, help and advice stalls, food from some of the best Afghan restaurants in London and much more!
