East Village partners with The Nomad Cinema: free outdoor screening of Thelma & Louise

This August, London’s favourite pop-up outdoor cinema expert, The Nomad Cinema, is teaming up for the first time with East Village E20 to offer free screenings of four hugely popular films.

Film lovers will need to enter a ballot via the East Village website to win a pair of tickets to one of the four screenings, which will be hosted in Victory Park, East Village - the former London 2012 Athletes’ Village.

The ballot closes at midnight Friday 31 July. For those that love classics, Thelma & Louise will be shown on Thursday 6 August. On arrival at Victory Park guests will sit back and relax, tuning into the film via wireless headsets. Early bird tickets were made available to East Village residents, with more than 300 free tickets now available in the public ballot.

These pop-up cinema screenings are part of Get Living London’s programme of FREE summer events as it transforms East Village E20 into the perfect summertime destination.
