"It's on 'Our Lands' that his songwriting strengths really shine" - SONGLINES

"Let’s Get Low is an intelligent and thoroughly modern record, infused with the melodic structures of ’80s pop and the emo- tional honesty of the best of the classic singer-songwriter era." - FROOTS

"A hidden gem" - GUARDIAN/OBSERVER

THE TELEGRAPH: 5 stars SONGLINES: 4 stars

"Barney led a sing-a-long to the heart-rending ‘You Don’t Need Church’— it’s interesting that a song so-titled can sound so sacred." - OXFORD MUSIC SCENE

FENNE LILY~

Being discouraged from watching TV as a child was perhaps integral to the development of Fenne’s musicality, as instead many hours were spent crafting songs and honing both instrumental & lyrical skill. With a passion for raw, honest and unaffected songwriting, Fenne’s folk-tinged music is woven with integrity and sincerity; grit and soft understatement in equal measures.

The Garrick Temple to Shakespeare is a small garden folly erected in 1756 on the north bank of the River Thames at Hampton, London. It was built by the actor David Garrick to honour the playwright William Shakespeare, whose plays Garrick performed to great acclaim throughout his career.

After a campaign supported by distinguished actors and donations from the National Lottery's "good causes" fund, it was restored in the late 1990s and reopened to the public as a museum and memorial to the life and career of Garrick. It is reputedly the world's only shrine to Shakespeare.
