Hiroshima Dispersed

On Thursday 6th August London Bubble Theatre are commemorating Hiroshima Day with an event ‘Hiroshima Dispersed’ at Creekside Discovery Centre. To mark the 70th anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bomb, you’re invited to join us for a reading of the script ‘The Grandchildren of Hiroshima’, which takes place alongside other readings around the world. Following the reading we will mirror the traditional Lantern floating ceremony also held in Hiroshima. We hope you can join us for this significant event which will also take place in seven different countries around the world by seven different theatre companies, with the script having been written in collaboration with participants in Japan.
