Set sail and explore Tall Ship Island with mbna Thames Clippers this summer

Two world famous Tall Ships will be heading to Greenwich over the August bank holiday. MBNA Thames Clippers is offering package tickets to enjoy a trip along the Thames to explore the ships.

As the world famous Tall Ships dominate the Greenwich and Docklands skyline, visitors disembark their MBNA Thames Clippers boat and venture onto the pontoon of Tall Ship Island. Day trippers will be able to explore the decks and rigging of the Santa Maria Manuela all the way from Portugal and the Dar Mlodziezy from Poland. Guides will be stationed around the walking route offering fun stories about life at sea and the history of the imposing ships.

Tall Ship Island will be located nearby Cutty Sark and the Old Royal Naval College. The walking route will take visitors around both boats in an hour before heading back to the MBNA Thames Clippers vessel for the return trip.

The package includes return travel from either Greenwich or London Bridge City pier, one hour to explore the Tall Ships starts at £10 per child and £20 per adult.

On the evenings of the 27th, 28th and 30th August there will be fireworks at Greenwich, with packages to watch the spectacular from both the Tall Ships and on board MBNA Thames Clippers.
