Rathbone Market Festival

In celebration of local art, food, culture and music, Rathbone Market is proud to host its first summer festival in the newly regenerated market square.

Rathbone Market Festival will take place in the revitalised Rathbone Market square on Barking Road, Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August, featuring music, sporting activities and arts as well as food and drink.

Music and culture will be a key theme throughout the weekend and festival-goers will also be able to enjoy free sports activities such as mini tennis from Community Links’ S-Team, new food and drinks stalls, as well as Al Fresco games for the kids provided by Heart FM's Angels. The radio team will be out and about on the day to get involved in the fun and festivities, engaging with families and locals.

There will also be exclusive performances from Theatre Royal Stratford East and a headline performance from Soul Choir led by soul singer Byron Gold in association with Streets Festival.

Partnering up with the Rosetta Art Centre, Rathbone Market will be commissioning a mural art wall, employing local artists to produce an artwork that reflects and represents the Rathbone community.
