Hosted by the Old Royal Naval College and curated by The Architecture Foundation. This one day event will bring together politicians, historians, performers, architects and businesses from across Outer London to debate the development of London’s peripheral boroughs.
Doughnut will be the first event of its kind – an adventurous celebration of all things Outer London and a critical reflection on the challenge and opportunities that face London and Londoners.
Writer and commentator Will Self, who is Patron of the festival, will participate in a keynote discussion with award winning writer Hanif Kureishi as part of a main stage line-up. Outside, there will be pop-up food stalls, music performances and family-friendly activities.
The day will take form in three difference sessions, concluded with a selected episode of the The Inbetweeners, introduced by the writers Iain Morris and Damon Beesley who will also take part in a Q&A session after the screening.
